Poster presentations

The recommended size of a poster is A0 (841 x 1189 mm) in portrait format.

Each poster presenter will have a slot of 280 seconds to give an appetizer presentation of their work. For this purpose send a pdf file of the presentation to no later than Mar 10. Please note that it is NEITHER possible to bring your own computer, NOR to use other file formats than pdf. The time slots will be strictly enforced.


WSA 2014 uses the EDAS conference management system for initial extended abstract submission and for submission of the final version of accepted papers. Authors will need an EDAS account to submit a paper to WSA 2014.

Extended abstracts

Extended abstracts with at least two pages length or the full paper can be submitted until November 15, 2013 for peer-review.

  2. Enter the required information (title, keywords, abstract) and upload your pdf file. Please use the tempaltes mentioned below and stick to the format guidelines. The abstract shall include a problem statement, an outline of applied methods and techniques, a brief outline of main results and a summary of the content to be presented in the full paper, if accepted.

During the initial paper submission process via EDAS, the authors are required to make sure the PDF and EDAS registration page of a paper have the same list of authors and the paper title, that is, please add all authors in EDAS during the submission process.

Please note that EDAS Conference Services LLC is the data controller and telemedia service provider for any interaction with the web site. Documentation on the applicable privacy policy and terms of use can be found on the web site.

Full paper

Camera ready paper versions can have up to 8 pages in two column style. Please use the templates provided below and stick to the format guidelines. Submissions should include affiliation, address, and email address.

Upon acceptance, please upload the camera ready paper no later than February 1, 2014, (23:59 CET) using the EDAS conference management system. If you fail to upload your camera ready final paper until then, your paper cannot be included in the workshop proceedings.

Templates and format requirements (extended abstracts and full papers)

Please use the standard IEEE templates for conferences provided from IEEE. All submissions have to be written in English. Paper submissions should be A4, double column, 10pt font size with a minimum length of 2 pages (extended abstract) and 8 pages (camera ready), respectively. Please find further details on formatting and spelling inside the template.
